Essex hydraulic surge suppressors are now in use around the world. We call it the 485000 series . . . the airlines and military of over 43 countries call it a lifesaver. And now a leading engine manufacturer is also using this pulsation dampener in the engine lubrication oil lines to solve serious vibration problems.
The manufacturing division designs and manufactures assorted QPL-Approved valves and quick disconnects for liquid oxygen systems. Self-sealing and non-self-sealing disconnects of various designs, along with custom cryogenic fill, build-up and vent valves make building liquid oxygen systems a breeze with Essex liquid oxygen components.
This division designs and manufactures sophisticated multi-function pilot's control grips for both aircraft and land combat systems. Recognized as an industry leader, Essex grips are found on most modern fixed-wing aircraft, and special variations of the Bradley Fighting Vehicle.
These high-pressure natural gas regulators are used for motor vehicle applications. With inlet pressures up to 3600 PSI, and outlet pressures adjustable to over 150 PSI, these regulators are ready "off the shelf" or customized for your application.
In addition to the better known items above, Essex Manufacturing designs and produces a wide variety of fuel, air, hydraulic and oxygen valves and regulators. Another one of our unique product lines are the 630 series flame arrestors. These devices are installed in aircraft fuel vent systems to prevent external flame propagation into the fuel cells. Essex also manufactures a large assortment of special build-to-print items such as engine overspeed controls, pilot valves, solenoid operated actuators, and various other electro-mechanical devices used around the world.
