Thermal Shut-Off Ball Valve |

These FM Approved fire safe ball valves contain a fusible link shut off valve actuator which is a self-contained, spring loaded device that automatically will shut off or open 1/4" thru 4" fire safe ball valves. These units are also manually operable in the line with the special, removable handle we provide to allow the operator to quarter-turn the valve off or on without removing or voiding the fusible links. The heat actuated Thermal Links will melt and the valve will close at a predetermined temperature, i.e., 135°, 165° (standard), 212°, 286°, 360° or 500°F. Or, they can be purchased with an Electro-Thermal-Link (ETL) for operating units remotely or for the purpose of hooking these to a gas or smoke detector. Click ETL for information. |
