The Liquid Oxygen Breathing System provides a safe, lightweight and compact
means of storing, pressurizing and supplying liquid oxygen. The systems
provide life support to aircraft crew members of our nation's and allies'
defense. The patented double-wall vacuum spheres are designed from 5 to
110 liter sizes. |

The ready to install emergency medical oxygen system is a complete system
ready to be installed on any helicopter or fixed wing aircraft. It provides
a compact, lightweight means of supplying regulated breathable oxygen gas
to multiple patients on ambulance aircraft. The unit uses a removable 10
liter LOX converter. The system is capable of supplying up to 100 liters
per minute of oxygen gas at 50 psig. The system has a manual over-ride to
allow the system to be operated in the event of a power failure. |

Gas cylinders are fabricated of stainless steel material and constructed
in accordance with applicable portions of military and commercial standards.
Low pressure cylinders have a nominal operating pressure of 450 psig, high
pressure cylinders have nominal operating pressures of 1800 to 2100 psig. |

Heat exchangers warm incoming gas or liquid oxygen within 20 degrees of
its ambient temperature. This particular unit is a minimum of 320 feet of
aluminum tubing, weighs 25 pounds and delivers a heat exchange rate of approximately
15,120 Btu/hr. |

The PTLOXS unit will supply 15 liters per minute of gaseous oxygen each
to three ambulatory patients while being transported from one location to
another. This therapeutic oxygen unit weighs a maximum of 80 pounds when
full. The accessory kit with valves, humidifiers and hoses weighs 30 pounds
maximum. |
